Who are the doctors available on MedVirtually?
MedVirtually's doctors are fully-licensed by the local Medical Council bodies. They also go through a thorough vetting and background check process before they are allowed to conduct house calls as a MedVirtually doctor. When you’re matched with a doctor, you’ll be able to see their name and picture – so that you know ahead of time who’s coming to help you. If you have any questions, concerns or medical information that’s pertinent to the visit, you’ll be able to contact the doctor through in-app messaging and calling to convey this before he/she arrives.
When is MedVirtually available?
MedVirtually is available 24 hours, 7 days a week, including public holidays. To book a doctor house call, download the app for iPhone or Android. A late-night surcharge applies from 6pm – 8am.
Can MedVirtually online doctors issue MCs via online consultations?
Absolutely, please raise this during your video consultation. Our online doctor will determine if an MC is clinically appropriate and prepare everything for you.
